This glowing necklace is a representation of jewelry of which I think it's possible to exist in 3000 years. Here's why. It has a 3D printed case. It's not about the 3D printing technique, but about the material that's used for it, that made me choose to make it this way. Plastic. Looking at the non biodegradable floating plastic islands in the ocean, and everything in our own environment, there's a good chance some of it will survive for 3000 years, being recycled or something. Within the case, there's the uranium glass core. It's fairly small amount of radioactivity represents the energy we could use in the future - if we happen to manage to control nuclear power by the time we run out of fossil fuels. The uranium glass starts glowing when you put on the necklace. With or without its gemstones, it's an accessory that already exists for quite a time, and will maybe even turn more into a wearable than jewelry in the future.
