This little needle poking your head is based on the pain scale used in hospitals, where a little headache will distract you from your daily activities for a bit and a disease will force you to stay in bed and do absolutely nothing. Receiving notifications on our mobile phones works a little the same way. Getting a few bleeps will distract you doing your homework, but getting a lot and nothing will be done at the end of the night. I've turned the event of seeing notifications pop up on your screen back into pain with the automatic needle poking you every time you receive a message, e-mail or any other notification. The idea is that by wearing this device, when you want some things done that day, you rather turn off your phone then let yourself be punctured in the fore head every time your phone rings.
